Boats

Boats are a method of transportation in Blox Fruits. They can be purchased from various locations with sea access, most commonly docks. The player can find the Boat Dealer and the Luxury Boat Dealer at many different islands.

Boat Dealer, Luxury Boat Dealer, and Marines Boat Dealer can be used to spawn boats for a set price. Marines also have a discount on every boat purchased from Boat Dealer or Marines Boat Dealer.

Replaced Boats

These boats were once in the game, though have since been replaced:

Cannon

Certain boats have seats equipped with cannons, which can fire cannonballs that explode and deal damage upon contact. The cannonballs's damage depends on the player's level. The driver can use the unoccupied cannons. The cannons can be used to destroy other ships, including NPC ships from sea events, for this the player can move in a circle to avoid cannonballs from Ship Raids while shooting cannonballs at the ships to obtain the loot.

Notes

  • The Sentinel is currently arguably the fastest ship in the game.
  • The Miracle and Sentinel both have the ability to go over small rocks in the sea due to their flight, meaning both boats are optimal for traveling and/or looking for islands.
  • When first starting the game, the player will not have access to the Brigade or the Grand Brigade boat.
  • Marine ships bought from the Advanced Marine Boat Dealer are cheaper, faster, and look different than their Pirate counterparts. (User doesn't need to be a Marine to buy a Marine boat)
  • Sea Events occasionally occur when a player sails on boat in the Second Sea or Third Sea.
  • Boats have health which is shown in the orange bar above the player’s toolbar, or if the player is far enough from the ship, the orange health bar will show above the ship. The boat will sink when the health hits 0.
  • Boat cannon shots have Destructible Physics.
  • Cannons' damage is based on the player's level (not to other boats) and is most noticed on NPCs.
  • Sometimes when the user changes tabs when riding the boat, a glitch happens when keep riding the boat even when user changes tabs.
  • There is a glitch where sometimes a boat sinks and then appears in another location close to the location where it sank.

Trivia

  • Unlocking Shipwright allows players to repair their boat. This requires being in the Third Sea and obtaining Wooden Plank.
  • The new boats Guardian and Lantern have replaced their old counterparts, the Swan Ship and Flower Ship.
  • Back when the game was in Beta the player could make NPCs ride the users' boat but this was patched shortly.
  • The cannons are rarely used to attack by players due to them being hard to aim and having relatively low damage.
  • The speed of boats varies depending on the sea.
  • Beast Hunter is the only boat to have an icon and be crafted.
  • Cyborg's V3 skill will almost instantly destroy a boat.
  • Boats can actually be rode on every surface, and sometimes can be rode on the ground.
  • The lantern connected to the Lantern can actually clip through surfaces.
  • Boats used to have normal seats, but some were later removed or converted into cannons on Updates/25, the only ships without cannons and have seating capacity higher than 1 are Miracle, Sleigh, and Dinghy.
