Fish Fights
Fish Fights were a turn-based minigame where two players used fish they have caught to battle in a friendly slap contest.
Locations
The Fish Fight arena is located at.
- Two arenas at the Castle on the Sea in the Third Sea, left of the annex or behind the central chapel, in front of the Sealed King
Objective
Before starting, each player selects one fish from their inventory. The battle begins with both players having three hearts. The goal is to reduce the opponent’s hearts to zero before losing all of one’s own.
The winner used to receive
100 Summer Tokens once per hour, refreshed at XX:30 UTC when the summer weekly updates used to happen.
How to Play
During a turn, the player is shown a meter with a red-to-green gradient and must time a button press:
- Landing in the green zone increases the chance of a successful hit or a critical hit.
- Normal hits reduce half a heart.
- Critical hits reduce a full heart.
- Misses occur when the bar lands outside the optimal zones.
Each time the opponent loses a heart, the meter became faster and the green area smaller, making consecutive hits more difficult.
Heart Mechanics
Hearts have three stages:
- Full Heart
– requires two normal hits or one critical hit to be depleted (except the final heart). - Half Heart
– requires one normal hit (except the final heart). - Quarter Heart
– appears only for the final heart; can only be removed with a critical hit. Players in this stage can dodge using the meter system.
Although three hearts are displayed, a total of five critical hits are required to achieve victory because the final heart has an additional Quarter Heart stage.
