Hungry Man/Quest

Requirements

• The player has to be Lv. 1801+.
• The player has to have completed the Citizen quest.
• The player must have obtained the Musketeer Hat accessory.
• 5,000,000
• 5,000 EXPEXP on Instinct.

If the player doesn't meet these requirements (except for the Money), the Hungry Man will reply with "Go away, weakling."

Obtainment

1. The player must talk to the Hungry Man in one of the pineapple houses in the Floating Turtle.
2. The player must find 3 fruits; an Apple, a Banana and a Pineapple.
   • The apple can be found at the Floating Turtle, on top of a hill near the Hungry Man.
   • The banana can be found at the Great Tree, on the closest hill to the Hydra Island.
   • The pineapple can be found at the Port Town, near a stall in the rightmost corner.
     • Note that every 10 minutes, one of the fruits will spawn.
3. Once the player has all of the fruits, they must talk to the Citizen and he will put the fruits in a bowl.
   • This has to be done, as if the player tries to give the Hungry Man the three fruits without putting it in a bowl first, the Hungry Man will instead give the dialogue "Nice, you found three fruits, but I'm a picky person. I want to eat this in a bowl, can you do that for me?" when talked to.
   • In order for the Citizen to put the fruits into the bowl, the player must have obtained the Musketeer Hat accessory.
4. The player must return to the Hungry Man and give him the fruit bowl, and the player will be able to purchase Instinct V2 for 5,000,000.

Notes

• It is recommended to save money for Instinct V2 once the player reaches Lv. 1800 because of the huge amount of money it requires.
• Portal's [C] World Warp ability makes the Hungry Man quest much easier as it lets the player travel easily on the map.
• Giving the Hungry Man the bowl of fruits will allow the player to purchase Instinct V2 at any time.
• The player cannot eat the fruits
• It is recommended to be extremely cautious while doing this quest, because dying with any of the fruits will cause the player to lose them, which will require the player to redo the quest.
  • Because of this, it is recommended to do this quest in a Private Server.
  • One way to farm Instinct EXP quickly is to server hop and use all the dodges then server hop again.
• When the player reaches the maximum EXP on Instinct (5,000), they will be given the Ultra Instinct (#72) title.
  • The player can check their EXP on Instinct by talking to the Instinct Teacher in the First Sea.
• The player can actually obtain the fruit bowl before talking to the Hungry Man with the 3 fruits.
• Sometimes the fruit bowl may remain in the player's hotbar even after finishing the quest, supposedly due to an unknown glitch.

Trivia

• The Butler has a dialog talking about a legendary pirate which refers to the Hungry Man.
• The fruit bowl can be earned again by getting all the fruits and talking to the Citizen even after getting Instinct V2.
• Each fruit spawns 10 minutes after the last fruit spawned, so it takes 30 minutes total to get all fruits.
