Light is a Rare Elemental-type Blox Fruit that costs 650,000 or 1,100 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Light allows the user to create, become and manipulate light itself to inflict damage to enemies; it also allows the user to fly at the speed of light, conjure a light spear, use fast kicks and ranged rays to damage opponents.

Light is considered to be the best grinding fruit in the First Sea and early to mid Second Sea since it is an Elemental Blox Fruit and has AoE moves, decent damage, relatively low mastery requirements, [M1] attacks, and one of the fastest mobility abilities in the game, being the [F] Light Flight move. However, Awakened Buddha is more recommended in Second Sea and Third Sea due to the high Elemental Immunity level requirements in order to activate Elemental Reflex and more NPCs having Aura later on.

Light's awakened version is a solid choice for PvP due to its good stuns, decent range, but its moves are easily Instinct-trickable and its awakened version lacks AoE with its [C] Lightspeed Destroyer and [X] Hand of the Emperor. Light also requires good aim to be used efficiently in PvP.

Light is a good grinding fruit recommended for First Sea to mid Second Sea due to it having Elemental Reflex and low mastery requirements, Light is also a solid choice for PvP except for it is easily Instinct-trickable moves. But Light is not recommended for Third Sea due to the high Elemental Immunity level requirements in order to activate Elemental Reflex and more NPCs having Aura later on.

Awakening

Light costs 14,500 to fully awaken.

The title "The First Light" #037 will be granted upon awakening the first move of the Light Fruit.

Elemental Reflex	The wielder is immune to all physical attacks (fighting style, sword, gun) from players unless the attacks are imbued with Aura. Against NPCs, this immunity applies unless they are of a higher level. This effect is only effective against non-boss enemies.
Light Spear	The user gains a spear made of light to use as their M1 attack similar to the Ice Trident. However, this can hit Blade users as it is a fruit attack. Note that the user does not need to put stats in sword to make the spear more powerful because increasing the fruit stat alone makes the fruit do more damage, including the M1 light spear. The user can also enable Aura on the light spear (It is only visual, the damage does not change).

If it is fully held and all 3 arrows hit the enemy, it will do 2x more damage than the tap version (1 arrow).

	The user shoots a beam of light from their right hand, which they can move around. If aimed correctly, it stuns the target for as long as the skill lasts and does high damage. This move can be held with the aforementioned hotkey, similar to the unawakened [X] move (multi-hit).

	The user summons a huge barrage of light beams on their cursor, falling from the air that create explosions upon impact in a radius shown by a circle that appears upon activating the move, somewhat similar to Lightning [X]. This move can be Instinct tricked, but it will drain an opponent's Instinct dodges in less than 2-3 seconds. Also, this move stuns (only soft stun) while draining Instinct, so the user can line up another move, for example, the C move, and then follow it up with the [X] move.

The user summons a huge barrage of light beams on their cursor, falling from the air that create explosions upon impact in a radius shown by a circle that appears upon activating the move, somewhat similar to Lightning [X]. This move can be Instinct tricked, but it will drain an opponent's Instinct dodges in less than 2-3 seconds. Also, this move stuns (only soft stun) while draining Instinct, so the user can line up another move, for example, the C move, and then follow it up with the [X] move.

	The user turns into light and flies extremely fast, slightly faster than its unawakened counterpart. Unlike the unawakened version, this move can change direction mid-flight, but the maneuverability is poor due to its snappy nature and 45° turns. Similar to Light V1, the flight can change direction upon hitting a surface.

Unlike the unawakened version, this move can change direction mid-flight, but the maneuverability is poor due to its snappy nature and 45° turns. Overview

Trivia

• The light spear was extremely glitchy the first time it was updated. For instance, running against a low wall like the one in Jungle can make the user fall down while their character glitches. This was fixed a few hours or days later, during the Christmas Event.
• In the first few updates, Light's sword (which is now a spear) used to be a separate item instead of being within the fruit.
• Awakened Light has the second fastest flight speed in the game if the user is at full Health, behind Western Dragon.
  • Prior to Update 24, Awakened Light’s [F] Shining Flight at full Health was the fastest flight in the game.
• Unawakened Light's flight move is uncontrollable and only flies straight. Fortunately, the awakened version can be controlled but can only make ~45 degree turns.
• When flying with Light, if the user collides with any solid object, the user will bounce off it. This is because of the properties of light in real life, which make it bounce off of surfaces. This is also known as specular reflection.
• If the player were using [C] Lightspeed Destroyer and get teleported (like during trials) or opponent out the server, the player will transform into a star. The user still can use their abilities, but in the appearance of a star.
• Light can be more effective in AFK grinding than Magma due to the light spear. Since the user can use an auto-clicker with it, Ice also works in this case.
• Light´s spear can harm Blade users because it counts as Fruit damage, not sword damage.
• Strangely, [V] Sky Beam Barrage is better in the matter that it breaks Instinct, though it lacks in the large AoE that the Awakened version has. The start-up lag of the unawakened version is also more noticeable like Lightning's [C] Sky Judgement move.
• [C] Lightspeed Destroyer, acts somewhat similarly to Portal's [Z] Portal Dash, as both moves involve the player teleporting to the enemy, dealing damage by kicking the target around, and smashing them down to the ground.
• [X] Barrage of Light is very similar to Dragon's [C] Scorching Downfall (Untransformed or Hybrid) and Dragon (Classic)'s [C] Fire Shower.
• Although Portal [C] World Warp is faster than [F] Shining Flight, [F] Shining Flight is good for getting to specific places on islands, like the top of the Great Tree, rather than the default spawn point of that island.
• Despite light in real life having no stationary mass, [Z] Light Ray is able to knock targets into midair.
• Due to a bug, Elemental Reflex doesn’t function at random times for an extended period, although this is extremely rare.
• In the early days of Blox Fruits's development, the [V] move used to be the flight move instead of the [F], which was changed for release.
• There is a bug with [C] Lightspeed Destroyer move in which it makes the user's accessory invisible (ex. Holiday Cloak, Kitsune Ribbon etc.)
• The Light Raid's final island has a structure that is also used in Elemental Battlegrounds' light map. (Another game also made by Gamer Robot)
• If the user lands [C] Lightspeed Destroyer at high altitude, the enemy will fall more slowly than at low or on land because there's no ground for the final hit (which makes lag and screenshake).
• Rarely, in some servers, if players use [X] Hand of the Emperor on ground, it will leave a permanent dust effect where it passed. This can cause lag when looked.
• If the player use [F] Shining Flight on a wall where there is a floor they will still fly without moving.
• If players defeat the content creator JuJuBo TV, they will receive the title "Light God" Title #200.
• Light unawakened [C] is auto aim as long your line of aim is where the enemy is
• Shadow, Diamond, and Awakened Light are the only Blox Fruits thats [V] move can be dodged no matter what with Instinct.
