What are the consequences of switching to the Pirate side in Blox Fruits? toggle section
In Blox Fruits, choosing the Pirate team enables you to accumulate Bounty by eliminating other players in a specific range. This Bounty is visible on the leaderboard. However, you'll face opposition from the Marines, the rival team. Additionally, you can engage in Pirate raids, potentially earning a Blox Fruit if you inflict the most damage in a Factory Raid. Failure to eliminate all foes promptly leads to no rewards and a pause of 75 minutes before the next raid.

Function

The Pirate Recruiter can switch the player from the Marine side to the Pirate side when the player is a Marine without having to quit and rejoin the game. When the player switches, their character will be reset before joining the opposite team. This means that if the player has an item (Blox Fruit or a God's Chalice) in their hotbar and switches, that item(s) will be lost.

Appearance

The Pirate Recruiter wears red-sneakered shoes, long black shorts, and the red pirate shirt attire. He also wears the Deluxe Bandit Mask, has cobalt-like hair, and has an X-shaped scar on the right side of his face.

Dialogue

Talking to the Pirate Recruiter will trigger the dialogue: "Would you like to change your team to Pirates? Stop obeying all of these rules and fight for your own treasures!"

Trivia

  • Players can only switch sides when they do not have the combat tag on them.
  • There is also currently another glitch which causes the ally button to disappear if the player is switching from Marines. Unless the player is already in a crew with someone, they won't be able to ally with anyone until they leave the game.
  • An important thing to note is that if the player currently possesses the God's Chalice, it shall be lost upon recruiting
