Spikey Trident is well known for its unique ability to pull enemies back towards the player, allowing for easy extension off of otherwise hard to extend moves, such as Godhuman [C], Spirit [V] and Sanguine Art's [Z]. Surprisingly, both moves of Spikey trident can damage Sea Beasts despite being single target.
It however is also infamous for being very easy to counter through basic knowledge of Instinct.
The Cyborg race however, may alleviate this issue to an extent.
Obtainment
The Spikey Trident can be obtained with a 10% chance from the Cake Prince or with a higher chance from the Dough King.
The player does 3 swipes, then performs a lunge on the fourth.

This move is very similar to Trident's [Z].

Cons
General
Can be hard to PvP with due to the moves needing perfect aim to land on the enemy. The player will usually need a stun move to start a combo with this sword.
Does not Instinct Break, making it really easy to dodge.
Both moves are single targets.
Small hitbox makes it hard to aim with.
Slow M1 speed.
[Z] Dough Hurricane
Enemies can ken-trick and Flash Step instantly near the user after the knockback, leaving them vulnerable. (This can happen when PvP on ground with good instinct players)
Cannot be canceled upon hitting an enemy.
The user can drown while dragging an enemy into the water or lava.
High delay if missed.
[X] Flying Trident Pull
Require good aim.
Missing can cause the user to rush close to the enemy if they are in the wall or on the ground, leaving them vulnerable to counterattacks because of the slight delay after getting pulled.
Trivia
As of Update 20, while using transformed Buddha, [Z] Dough Hurricane moves the user a very short distance. [X] Flying Trident Pull is harder to hit with transformed Buddha since it will aim parallel to the ground if aimed downward while standing on the ground.
The player can perform a glitch by coordinating with another player to use [Z] Dough Hurricane and aim it downward, which results in both users being knocked back a great distance if done correctly.
