Submerged Island

The Submerged Island is an island in the Third Sea.

Appearance

From the entrance the Submerged Island, there is a large archway with a greyish, abandoned appearance, similar to the other colonial structures. There are corals of different colors in various parts of the island. In the center, a coral flower with buildings fused with coral and gigantic clams appears. The left side of the island contains a small abandoned dock area, with many barrels and boxes scattered along the floors. A large coral covered mountain also sits on the left side of the island, with a small cave on the bottom of it connecting the suspended dock area to the outside dock. There are multiple broken archway-type structures scattered in the sea around the island.

Location

The Submerged Island is located under the sea of the Tiki Outpost, accessible by talking to the Submarine Worker, who is located inside Sub Port 01, near the second dock area at Tiki Outpost. (Must have defeated the Tyrant of the Skies raid boss to gain access.)

Notes

• Going high enough into the air above the island (or too far to the sides) will cause the player to return to the sea above, resurfacing them at Tiki Outpost.
• The Submarine Worker can be interacted for the player to exit the Submerged Island (back to Tiki Outpost) for free or travel to other islands for a price of 10,000- 30,000.
• This island is the host of the Sealed Cavern, where the Sharkman Master resides.

Trivia

• The Submerged Island is the second island to be based under the sea, the first being Underwater City.
• Unlike the Underwater City, the Submerged Island is actually underwater.
• The Third Sea islands can be seen above the island off in the distance.
• As of Update 27.0, there exists a bug where if a person uses Dough's [F] Scorching Donut or [C] Piercing Clothesline in the Submerged Island, they will begin to rapidly accelerate upwards, either forcing them to exit or even drown. (Can be recreated with Longsword's [X] Glorious Smash and/or Blade's [F] Turbine Flight as well.)
• There is a secret diamond chest with no entrance inside a rock, player can drink Loot Seeker potion to see it.
• As of Update 28.0, players can bypass the Tyrant of the Skies requirement for a friend by transforming into Kitsune above the Submerged Island coordinates and using the [X] Tails of Burning Agony grab move to force the target player through the ocean ceiling.
• As of Update 28.0 there is a way to get into Submerged Island without using the submarine as seen demonstrated in this video.
  • Entering in person requires the user to hold some swords or fighting styles moves, such as Godhuman's [C] Sixth Realm Gun or Sharkman Karate's [Z] Twelve Water Palms and aim right at the water’s surface.
