Superhuman

ArticleCombos

Superhuman is a fighting style obtainable in the Second Sea or Third Sea.

The style enhances the users overall strength, giving them a strong array of fast attacks, with good knockback and damage.

Superhuman is a long-standing fighting style in PvP due to its simple and agile moves. Because of its flexible mobility, this fighting style used to be extremely popular.

However, it's grown quite outdated when compared to the newer and better fighting styles such as Dragon Talon, Electric Claw, and its upgraded version, Godhuman. This fighting style is often used to practice precision, as it's infamously known for it's slow attacks and inability to break Instinct. This fighting style is mostly used in skilled builds.

Obtainment

Superhuman can be learned from the Martial Arts Master by meeting the following requirements:

Upon obtaining Superhuman, the player will receive two titles:

  • "The Killer" #142
  • "Human Weapon" #143.

Mastery

  • 400+ Mastery: Superhuman is one of the requirements to obtain its "upgraded successor", Godhuman.

Touch Screen Heavy Punches
Superhuman M1
The user does 4 powerful punches while having a white with a hint of blue trail along. When using aura the trail will turn black.

Beastly Owl Pounce
The user travels a decent amount of distance in any direction (can move in different directions while using the move), and if the user collides with an enemy, they will punch the target 20+ times, dealing a good amount of damage, and knocking them back slightly with a strong punch. If the user does not hit an enemy, they will just travel a decent distance. This move does not work when used with awakened Buddha unless aimed downward at the enemy. However, it can be used with unawakened Buddha. This move doesn't break Instinct, but can be useful in draining it.
X-Key Thunder Clap

Thundering Clap
The user charges up an attack and summons a tornado (if held down, the tornado does not deal damage) and when released or used, the user stomps the ground and releases a ring of power horizontally with a thunderous boom that deals decent damage to nearby enemies. Holding the move does not increase damage or knockback. This move breaks Instinct. This move somewhat works with Buddha as the ring is off-ground but can hit enemies on the ground, although its knockback makes it very bad for grinding.

The user dashes forward in immense speed and knocks the enemy back (great knockback and damage).

Overview

Pros
General
  • High combo potential.
  • All moves can be used in a combo for excellent damage output. The Z and C moves are good for running away when the players health is low.
  • Very good knockback.
  • Good damage.
  • Great for Raids since the player can use the Z move to stun the raid boss so others can also hit it.
  • Good fighting style for traveling.
  • Does not cost any Fragments to buy, unlike the V2 fighting styles.
  • Both the [Z] and [C] moves combo into each other, and the user can follow this up with Flash Step and [X].
  • Decent alternative to Godhuman.
[Z] Beast Owl Pounce
  • Decent for mobility.
  • Long stun.
  • Brief cooldown.
  • Decent for draining opponent's Instinct because of tick damage if they try to Instinct-trick.
  • Good for traveling long distances.
[X] Thunder Clap
[C] Conqueror Gun
  • Decent for mobility.
  • Good damage.

Cons
General
  • Underwhelming compared to its upgraded version, Godhuman
  • Very time-consuming to unlock, just like its successor, Godhuman (Costs $ 3,000,000, and players need to grind four fighting styles to 300 mastery). The player also needs to be in Second Sea or above.
  • Slow [M1] attacks
  • It is more efficient to just get Water Kung Fu, Dark Step, or Electric to 400 mastery and then getting Sharkman Karate, Death Step or Electric Claw with it, which are better than Superhuman in terms of grinding.
  • Horrible for grinding, as [Z] and [C] are single target, and [X] has a ton of knockback.
  • Moves are not recommended while using Buddha or hunting Sea Events.
  • All moves can be dodged easily if used individually rather than as a consecutive combo.
[Z] Beast Owl Pounce
  • Lower damage if hit from afar.
  • Can be dodged with Instinct while still using the attack.
  • Locks the user in place for a significant amount of time without I-frames, so the user can get easily targeted. This also leads to the move being risky for grinding.
  • Hard to hit because the move itself is generally slow travel.
[X] Thunder Clap
  • Can be dodged with Instinct if the user doesn't directly hit the target.
  • Hard to land.
  • Leaves the user very vulnerable to counterattacks.
  • Small range.
  • Does not affect players above or below the user.
  • Doesn't work on Sea Beasts.
[C] Conqueror Gun
  • Can be dodged with Instinct.
  • Only works on Sea Beasts when close enough, leaving the user vulnerable.

Notes
  • Superhuman is not very good for farming levels due to its high knockback, but its PvP potential makes up for it.
    • Superhuman can be effectively used for farming if using Buddha due to the [Z] move increasing range.
  • Superhuman requires a lot of skill and aim to use effectively.
  • Superhuman's M1 (tap) leaves a white trail for a split second, just like how Instinct V2 leaves a trail when enabled.
  • When the player hits a target, [Z] Beast Owl Pounce deals 50% the damage of the total damage and the collision will also deal 50% of [Z] Beast Owl Pounce.
  • When using [Z] Beast Owl Pounce on a target that has low health, the user simply travels through and kill the target without punching the target.

Trivia

  • Superhuman is used by the Living Zombies at Haunted Castle, but they only utilize M1s (left clicks) and not the moves.
  • Even though Superhuman is the most expensive V1 fighting style, and others are better due to factors such as damage or range, this still is a decent fighting style to use.
  • Superhuman is said to be Combat's successor, although it was proven false after the announcement of "Superhuman V2" (Godhuman) by rip_indra.
  • Superhuman is essentially a weaker version of Godhuman because both fighting styles have similar moves with Superhuman. This fighting style simply has older, more outdated design, slightly lower damage and almost no Instinct breaks, with [X] Thunder Clap not containing two variants compared to its successor, Godhuman.
  • Superhuman can be good for grinding aura since [Z] Beast Owl Pounce deals a decent amount of hits.
  • Superhuman is the fighting style with the second highest mastery requiring obtainment, with all other fighting styles (except Godhuman) being tied to each other in the mastery requirements.
  • Superhuman isn't very good for grinding or PvP compared to the V2s, so it is recommended to use a different fighting style, such as its upgraded version, Godhuman.
