Blox Fruits

Blox Fruits are strange, powerful fruits that grant supernatural powers to whoever eats them. They are the central mechanic of the entire game and the reason for its name. Every fruit carries a unique moveset, but the power comes at a cost: fruit users take constant damage while swimming in water. Certain fruits offset this with special perks such as immunities, extra mobility, or defensive bonuses.

How to Get Blox Fruits

The most common ways to pick up a fruit are:

• Buying a fruit's powers directly from the Blox Fruit Dealer.
• Rolling a random physical fruit at the Blox Fruit Gacha.
• Buying a Permanent Blox Fruit from the Blox Fruit Dealer or the in-game shop.
• Grabbing fruits that spawn under trees every hour, or every 45 minutes on weekends.

Beyond those, there are several extra sources:

• Dealing the most damage during a Factory raid.
• Defending the Castle on the Sea from pirate attackers and landing the final hit on the last enemy.
• Beating a Grand Brigade in a Ship Raid or Haunted Ship Raid (low chance).
• Trading fruits with other players, or being gifted a Permanent Blox Fruit.
• Buying a physical Rocket fruit from the Dog House for 97 Robux.
• Picking up a fruit another player dropped.
• Limited in-game events, such as physical fruits handed out by the Death King during Halloween.
• Rare drops tied to endgame content: defeating the Tyrant of the Skies can grant a physical Eagle fruit, offering Azure Embers can grant Kitsune, and collecting a Dragon Egg can grant Dragon.

Rarities

Fruits are split into five rarities, which roughly indicate how expensive a fruit is and how often it spawns.

Mutations

Mutations are altered forms of existing Blox Fruits with changed looks, movesets, and playstyles. Three mutations currently exist, all of them event-exclusive and all belonging to the Beast type:

• Empyrean
• Fiend
• Werewolf

Unavailable Blox Fruits

Some fruits can no longer be obtained through normal gameplay, or were removed from the game entirely. In most cases this happened because a newer fruit replaced them.

Notes

• Fruits dropped by players never despawn, unlike fruits that spawn under trees.
• A fruit stored in the inventory cannot be dropped.
• Fruits bought with Robux are permanent and can be re-equipped at any time from the Blox Fruit Dealer or the shop; fruits bought with in-game money are one-time use.
• The Remove Blox Fruit NPC can wipe your current fruit, though doing so is rarely a good idea.
• Permanent fruits can be traded like gamepasses by choosing "Store in Inventory" under the Gift tab. Already-used permanent fruits or gamepasses cannot be traded.
• Mastery (including awakened moves) is kept even if the fruit is replaced and later re-obtained.
• Sand users take double damage while submerged in water. Members of the Shark race take reduced water damage, and Shark V2 or higher removes it entirely.
• In the Second and Third Sea, fruits can be traded in for certain items, events, or quests.
• Buying a fruit with money from the Blox Fruit Dealer replaces whatever fruit is currently equipped.
• If you take a fruit out of storage and get killed, the fruit is lost, but the killer does not receive it.
• Ice and Magma V2 let their users walk on water, but they still take sea damage if pushed underwater.
• Awakened Buddha's Transformation keeps the user tall enough to avoid being fully submerged while standing, negating sea damage unless pushed under.
• After awakening a fruit, its original unawakened moves remain accessible through the Awakenings Expert.

Trivia

• Buying every permanent fruit would cost 68,880 Robux, and buying every fruit from the Blox Fruit Dealer would cost 84,432,500 money.
• Most bosses still use the older versions of their fruits; Don Swan is the only one using Spider with its updated moveset.
• Many Blox Fruit moves feature destructible physics.
