Overview

Anchor is the 10th Weapons and 6th Mythic weapon in Hunty Zombie, added in the update: Endless Madness

It takes the appearance of a weathered Anchor that's slightly bigger than the player, with a blue chain wrapped around it, and a light blue crystal at the head of it

Playstyle: Tanker.

Strengths:

  • Anchor's movests have CC.
  • M1 has big range.
  • High damage moveset.
  • Very tanky when use Warrior mode.

Weaknesses:

  • Slow M1s, need to keep distance between attacks.
  • High CD movesets.
  • Despite the HP boost, strong attacks can still kill you quickly
  • HP boost becomes pitiful in the late game
  • Status: Extremely solid secondary weapon for the survivability it gives. Best used early on to aid in survival, assuming your offenses aren't strong enough to bowl over the enemy anyway

Guide

  • Anchor has the unique niche of boosting your Max HP on the fly. This is something that no other weapon can do at the moment, making it an Exclusive thing for this weapon. The HP boost, however, is always 100 points, making it scale worse the stronger and higher level your Pets are. Thus, Anchor is most useful early on when you don't have much survivability, as Warrior Mode can patch up that problem.
  • Your M1s are not anything particular to write home about. Just know that enemies will not be hit if the edge of the VFX make contact, as it may deceive one into thinking they have more range then they actually do
  • Warrior Mode buffs your Max HP by 100 points for 30 seconds, but it works somewhat interestingly when already damaged. If damaged when using, your HP will be a percentage of what the new Max is (if you're HP was 50/100, it will now be 100/200 in Warrior Mode). When It's over, however, it will cap off to your original Base Max HP if above it, or stay the same as before if below it (from before, if i have 120/200 when Warrior Mode expires, ill have 100/100 HP, but if i have 80/200 when it expires, ill have 80/100 instead)
  • Despite the HP boost, you aren't exactly invincible. Tanky, sure, but don't get too overconfident, lest your newfound bulk be overwhelmed by an onslaught of damage
  • Water Erupts and Abyss Splash can be used to do damage when backing off for a bit while Warrior Mode is on cooldown. The former is also useful for clearing crowds, and the latter can be used to OHKO a tanky enemy, such as a Boss
  • Water Dance will hit rapidly, making it pair very well with Lifesteal Effects to get any lost HP back.
  • Your Ult rapidly hits, lingers for a long time, and is big, making it very good for restoring HP through Lifesteal Effects.
  • Abyss Splash may require some time to get used to, as it can't hit zombies already in your face. Once you have its range down confidentially, however, it can be weaved into ability strings, used to clear rooms immediately, clear crowds, kill bosses, and do big damage to Raid Bosses
  • Spec into CD for your Weapon Upgrades, as it will allow Warrior Mode to be up more often, and Anchor isn't built to output crazy damage in the first place (if you need more damage, go for a different weapon like Sledge Hammer, or another Mythic or Divine)

Techniques

  • Water Dance can be steered via Shift Lock and steering the camera, so steer it to hit the same target as many times as possible

Trivia

  • Anchor is currently the only weapon that can modify your Base HP in a match
