Katana

Overview

Katana is the 5th Weapons and 1st Mythic weapon in Hunty Zombie, added in the update: Release

It shares similarities with the Yamato which was Vergil's signature katana from the Devil May Cry Series, as shown in the moveset and in the ultimate.

Kit

The katana's attack cycle consists of 4 basic attacks, and the last attack in the cycle has increased damage

Blaze Burst (x)	35	25 sec.	Medium		On use the Player will slash through the air, unleashing a medium-range air slash that strikes all enemies in its path, the Player also steps back a bit after using said ability.
Fleeting Cut (c)	44	30 sec.	Long-Range		On use the Player will perform many slashes at once in a small circle, leaving the ground with many slash wounds.
Katana (ult.)	70	Placeholder	Around the user / average		The user, gripping their katana, prepares a mighty slash, with a one liner, Virgil-Style. Then, Blue Slashes erupt, dealing damage for 2 seconds
Special ability (v)	600	35 sec.	Medium		The user makes very fast slashes around them at medium range, dealing massive damage.

Tips and Usage

• Compared to its other mythic weapon folk, such as Scissors, Handfans, and Greatsword, Katana lacks a fair bit. It possesses exceptionally small and precise M1s, making Boomies your worst enemy, but its abilities can deal great damage. Katana is best used as a secondary for a weapon with better M1s, like the aforementioned 3 weapons or Sledge Hammer
• Like Said Before, don't rely on your M1s too much. They bear solid damage, but their range and AoE are extremely bad, leading to easily force-detonating Boomies unintentionally while merely trying to attack them
• Void Shatter does decent damage, but it lacks range, and can pull zombies you don't want in your face up close.
• Blaze Burst, unlike Void Shatter, does have some good range, and has good damage as well.
• Fleeting Cut is very useful for room clearing, as you can simply open the door and let Fleeting Cut rip, erasing anything inside. It also works well on bosses
• Your Ult has extreme damage but is extremely brief, so it doesn't provide much safety from hoards outside of the cutscene invincibility

Trivia

• Katana is one of the first mythic Weapons that was released alongside the Greatsword.
• The Katanas appearance and abilities are a reference to Vergil, from the Devil May Cry Series.
• The Ultimate references the Judgment Cut End, from Devil May Cry's Yamato, wielded by the Antagonist, Vergil. The ult is also accompanied by a voice line, which is quite unique, as only katanas and daggers can boast of this.
