Items
Items are a feature in Pet Simulator 99. They provide temporary buffs or rewards that aid the player and their pets, and live in your inventory alongside your pets — ranging from simple boosts to keys, gifts, charms, and cosmetic capes.

Event and Discontinued Items
Items tied to an ongoing event appear at the top of the player's inventory under the "Event" tab. After the event ends, any leftover items are moved to the "Discontinued" tab at the bottom of the inventory and become unusable. Items from the Glitch, Backrooms, and Good vs. Evil events were completely removed from all inventories unless they were stored in a box.
