Mastery
Mastery is a feature in Pet Simulator 99 that was added in Update 6 and is unlocked by rebirthing four times. The player's masteries, represented by a pink star, can be found upon opening the inventory.
How Mastery Works
- Leveling any mastery skill grants various permanent buffs to the player.
- Upon reaching level 99 of a mastery, the player unlocks a special Mastery Cape for that mastery, which is purely cosmetic.
- Having all masteries at level 99 unlocks the Master Skill Cape, which grants a bonus of +10% diamonds earned. The cape does not have to be equipped for the bonus to be active. If new masteries are added, the cape is removed until all masteries are maxed again.
- Leveling can be sped up by being in a clan with its Clan Boost at level 6 or higher (+10% mastery XP), or by consuming
Mastery XP Potions, each of which grants 10,000 XP (11,000 XP in a level 6+ clan) to a mastery of the player's choice. - The fastest way to max a mastery is consuming an
Ultra Mastery XP Potion, which instantly grants a level 99 mastery of the player's choice.
The 14 Masteries
There are currently 14 different masteries in the game. Each levels up as you use its related feature, and each rewards its own cape at level 99.
