Pets

Pets are a fundamental feature in Pet Simulator 99, serving as companions that collect coins and remain with you when equipped. Nearly everything in the game revolves around hatching, upgrading, and collecting stronger pets, so knowing where each group of pets comes from is essential.

World Pets

World pets are the everyday pets hatched from eggs found across the game's main worlds. Each world has its own roster of pets tied to its zones and eggs:

• World 1 - the starting Spawn World, where new players hatch their first pets.
• World 2 - the Tech World, with technology-themed pets.
• World 3 - the Void World, home to darker, void-themed pets.
• World 4 - the Fantasy World, filled with magical and mythical pets.

Two permanent event areas also carry their own pet pools: the Fishing World and the Grow an Egg World. These behave like extra worlds that remain in the game year-round.

Event Pets

Limited-time events regularly add exclusive pets that can usually only be hatched or earned while the event is running. Event pet collections, from oldest to newest, include:

• Giftboxes, Christmas, and St. Patrick's Day
• Backrooms, Good vs. Evil, Lucky Tiles, and Dino Tycoon
• RNG, Color War, Stand in Line, Halloween, and Autumn
• Pet Games, Cannon Tycoon, Valentines, and Trading Cards
• Mine & Combine, Slime Factory, Yeet a Basketball, Easter, Spring, and Soccer

Once an event ends, its pets typically become unobtainable except through trading, which makes older event pets highly sought after.

Secret Pets

Secret is a special rarity for pets in Pet Simulator 99. Secret pets are hidden in certain eggs at extremely low odds and do not appear in the egg's listed contents, making finding one a genuine surprise.

Exclusive Pets

Exclusive pets sit outside the normal world progression and come from premium or special sources:

• Exclusive Eggs - rotating Robux-priced eggs with unique pets, including Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan chances.
• Exclusive Packs and the Forever Pack - purchasable bundles containing exclusive pets.
• Machine Eggs - special machine-hatched eggs with exclusive pools.
• Merch - pets redeemed through real-world merchandise codes.
• Best Egg - a premium egg with a curated pool of top pets.
• Minigames - pets earned by playing minigames.
• Admin Abuse - pets given out during special Admin Abuse events.
• Miscellaneous - other one-off exclusive sources.

Transferred Pets from Pet Simulator X

Players who owned exclusive pets in Pet Simulator X were able to transfer many of them into Pet Simulator 99. Transferred categories include:

• Exclusive Egg pets - hatched from PSX exclusive eggs.
• Exclusive Shop pets - bought from the PSX exclusive shop.
• Huge Machine Egg pets - from PSX huge machine eggs.
• DLC pets - from PSX downloadable content codes.
• Hatchable pets - regular PSX hatchable exclusives.
• Event pets - from PSX limited-time events.
• Miscellaneous - other transferred exclusives.
